1228 is the work of San Francisco-based designer Nico Lopez, who started out making stage clothes for her musical friends. Her Spring/Summer collection was inspired by Nico’s love for vintage clothes as well as”Lolita, Taxi Driver, Art Deco, ballet basics, and beyond.”In this collection, she uses vintage fabric and remnants as well as organic cotton, hemp and silk.
