What a night last night was! I've got to say, I either loved or hated every look on the red carpet. I don't think there was any middle ground for me. The hottest trend of the night would have to be the look of metallic hues, and gold colored gowns. The red carpet was also filled with hues of bright colors from orange, to fuchsia, and blues, as well as creamy peaches and pinks. The favorite silhouettes of the night included gowns featuring tiers of ruffles, floor-length gowns as well strapless styles.
Here are some of my favorite gowns (in no particular order)
Anna Kendrick in Elie Saab
Cameron Diez in Oscar de la Renta
Carey Mulligan in Prada
Elizabeth Banks in Versace
Demi Moore in Altier Versace
Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab
Sarah Jessica Parker in Chanel Couture
Miley Cyrus in Jenny Packham
Sandra Bullock in Marchesa
hello spring, hello rompers.
this is a look I adore.
rompers are BIG for spring!
floral, solid, and cute geometric prints scream sunshine!
shoes? I would recommend wedges or gladiator sandals with this look :)

Jean Paul Gaultier to Do Target Collection
Jean Paul Gaultier is doing a Target collection that will hit more than 250 Target stores across the country and Target.com on March 7, and be available through April 11. Gaultier is the third established designer to do a collection for the mass retailer (after Alexander McQueen and Anna Sui) under the Designer Collaboration series. Target makes the designers in this series choose a muse for their collections. McQueen chose Leila Moss, Sui chose the girls of Gossip Girl, and Gaultier?"Jean Paul Gaultier for Target pays tribute to the American woman, celebrating the forces of style both past and present in American pop culture," the retailer said.

you can mix colors and patterns together and create beautiful looks
try them with ripped jeans, leggings, or a cute high waisted skirt
and mix it up with a scarf, or some funky jewelry

Gabriella Cortese
Spotlight On::
Gabriella Cortese
Born in Italy, Gabriella Cortese learned embroidery and dressmaking from her grandmother before moving to Paris to study art at age 18. Her line, Antik Batik was inspired by travels and experiences: At a job at the Crazy Horse in Paris, Balinese artisans taught her the craft of Batik, a traditional African technology for dyeing cloth. Her travels in India exposed her to other exquisite hand-dyeing and embroidery techniques. With Cortese at the helm, Antik Batik is more than a fashion label, it's a lifestyle.
